D darrell Well-known member Apr 6, 2021 #22 you can tell if the shafts are on right at a glance.if the overflow pipe is at the front on the pass side and the rear on the drivers they are correct.

KULTULZ Well-known member Apr 6, 2021 #23 ... crank the engine over to see if you're getting oil out of the pump Click to expand... Best not to spin an engine (starter motor) if dry (hard on components) or if a fresh engine has cam lube. The cam lube will be wiped off.
