park my 27 up a hill ate dinner when tried to start it. It would surge forward and would not turn over we had to push it to level ground then it turn over is something out of adjustment everything seems to work OK thanks AL

Allen, it sounds like the clutch is not being fully disengaged as you pull the hand brake to put the car in neutral. A visual inspection of the left side of the transmissions might be a good starting point. Pull the floor boards out and work the hand brake with the engine not running and watch the cam on the hand brake shaft. It needs to be lined up on the neutral adjustment bolt.
Also look at the low speed pedal, it if goes too far down (out of adjustment) it can stick if it goes beyond the cam on the base of the pedal. (this would leave it in low)
This would be easy to see as the low pedal would be near the floor board.
