26-7 model T frame

I'm looking at a model T frame to purchase, I am going to be building a 26-7 Model T roadster, Were there differences in the frames from the earlier cars compared to 26-7's? If so, what should I be looking for on this frame to see if it will work for me?
Thanks,
Brad

The front fender brackets are the first thing that differ, the rear crossmember is wider, and has a flange on the bottom, looks somewhat like a Model A rear crossmember. VERY early 1926 t's had a wide rear crossmember without the flange, but these are rare.

I don't believe this has the fender brackets on it but I could check the rear crossmember. Do you know the difference in the measurements or just the measurement of the 26-7? I do have a model A crossmember, are you talking about the flange where the U-bolts go through? Thank you

The front fender brackets attach to a metal tab that is part of the front crossmember. That flange on the rear is the area were the U bolts go through, runs the width of the crossmember front and rear.

Thank you Roadster62, are there any other differences in a bare frame, or could I essentially make any work? Thannks,
Brad

Body mount brackets vary and fender mounts, and length of running board brackets too.

Here is a '26-'27 frame

Do you have a measurement from the front of the frame rail to the center of the first body mount hole by any chance. I'm pretty sure the running board brackets aren't on the frame that I'm looking at but, I believe the body mounts are. You guys are awesome, so much knowledge floating around here, this site is great.
