2014 mafca national meet

The two couples fron Nelson have registed no 102 & 106 , Two more couples from the little island also registed , so 4 couples from the NZ REBEL A CHAPTER, Do know there is more from N Island club going , Have an order in at local sign shop for some stickers for Ford barners to wear & meet up. Malcom & Paul are providing free beers,(tinnies) ?? Some one needs to tell them ??? Derek on the mainland

I believe only two classes fine point and touring class ,the fine point car are really exspensive cars /and a touring class car is a very nice car but may have several safety features added but the really check safety of the car such as breaks, steering ,carter pin in place tires ect. the fine point car are restored with NOS parts witch are some times hard to fine and are very costly

Revised list . two couples from the mainland NZ & around 5 folk from the small island . Enough for a party ?? North Islanders are shouting free beers ??? Tui,s ??

We are excited about attending. We've been to a Northwest Regional Meet and had a GREAT time. We can only imagine what a National Meet will be like.

Initially we were worried about the criticism we might experience since we are new to the hobby and do not have an historically accurate car, but we were pleasantly surprised! Everyone, hosts and participants alike, were very friendly and welcoming.

We had so much fun we've even talked another couple into joining us in Washington. Now if we can get a few more to make the trek... the more the merrier!

Great video 160B. Some stunning stuff that we can't wait to see. And beautifully put together.
There are two couples and 3 singles in our group- 7 people in a Dodge caravan. The 3 singles still have to register by the sound of it. I keep forgetting to gee them up. There was a NIMAFC (North Island Model A Ford Club) committee meeting at my factory offices tonight and I forgot to remind them again. I am not on the committee, so I did some renovation work on the paint on my wife's new Tudor and then went home and left them to it.
Here are pics of the before and after. The car was stored in a cement warehouse since 1996. I am pleased with how it is coming up. I will just have to touch in some of the acrylic where it flaked off near joins. Mudguards are enamel- fenders, I mean!

Thanks, looking forward to meeting you!

Mudguards work for me as my wife have been to NZ once and AU 4 times.

Where will the hill climb be located?
Will non model A club people be able to get in the fairgrounds to look at the cars?
