does anyone know if there was a tech bullitan on oil use mine uses 4 qts every 1500 mi i have the v 10 no real smoke on startup have no idea where its going other then that the truck has been flawless
 
check the pcv set up if your vechicle has one, they can suck a lot of oil thru them, is the tail pipe oily from exhaust gases, bad rings, valveguides or pvc is about the only way oil to be consumed, , check compression, if low squirt some oil in the cylinder, if the compression comes up, probably rings
