Can anyone tell me if the Mitchell 1000 overdrive that was designed for Model A will fit in a 35 ford car?

They are located at 1157 Parker St., Colusa, Calif.
They have an early V/8 overdrive unit like the Model A. I have one in my A and really like it. I used the shift unit for the V/8 on mine since I have a 39 transmission in my A. Ed

Talk to Sue Mitchell, she can answer any question you might come up with on the Mitchell. Put one in my 41 pickup, love it. Just got back from a trip to Victoria B.C.

Hi Chris, Put one in 36 pick-up and love it, though I wish I had chosen the higher speed of the two ratio's offered. As far as fitting a 35 car it looks to me that modifications to the rear floor would be required to fit the shifter box up forward of the rear end. B-nut.
