2 center cylinders running hotter than end ones

I noticed today that the 2 center cylinder of the exhaust manifold have some of the paint burned off but not the end ones, I painted the manifold about a month ago. I had it in a parade for Memorial Day and it did get to about 185 degrees but wondering why only the center ones burned the paint, any ideas appreciated, thanks Jim

because the 2 exhaust ports are side by side thus concentrating the heat. normal. head out for your next parade with peace of mind. all the paint is gonna burn off anyway, even the so-called hi-temp stuff

Jim - On the exhaust manifold on my AA and other tractors that I have restored I used Cast Blast on them and have had no issues with it burning off or turning a different color.
