Sad to say but the Mark VIII got ramed by a careless Explorer driver. Most of the damage is to the left 1/4. All of the tail lights and deck lid are crushed. The driver seat is bent backwards from the rear impact. The CD rack in the trunk might be busted Doors open and close perfect. Airbags did NOT deploy

To fix it will only be worth while for a good body man who has a good parts car. If you want the old wheels and tires they can go on the tow vehicle for free
The car had been owned/maintained by an old Ford/Lincoln/Mercury parts manager/me. Translate----- overmaintained it don't need nothin
Silicone brake fluid
Rebuilt ATC
NEW Z-RATED TIRES 2500 miles with
NEW WHEELS 2500 miles-----Here to Sanibel Fl and back
stainless lug nuts
Will sell the crashed car for $750. with the old wheels and tires

The driveline would be really interesting in a hot rod or restomod type.

I dont think a junk yard will sell a engine/trans that cheap

This is the same engine as a Marauder or a Mustang 4.6 4valve 4 cam

Will talk-- make offers -trade -barter -or anything interesting to me that I might consider

NOW DON'T GET WORRIED THE GM CAR IS A INS CO LOANER

Re: 1998 mark viii $600 on old wheels/tires. will talk

I would be very happy to see some one put this all aluminium engine to use. It is too good for the crusher!
I still have the old wheels/tires.
The new wheel/tire combo will be a nice upgrade for a 1999 thru 1996 T-Bird or Cougar
