wanted to share my ford find over the weekend. i was after this car for many years and i finally got the call to come get it.it belonged to a friend who hasnt been able to drive since 06. car is a real peach with baby blue color. od shows 33k orig. its a 1 owner car. hasnt been run in 10yrs showing 3/4 tank of gas,got it on the trailer, got it home, put a battery to it and ya know what? 2 shots of either and it started up and its running on the old fuel. wow. i like these 6cyl 200 engines. its got the big bell for a 5.0 engine . but im gonna keep it orig.

had time yesterday evening to clean up baby blue. took it for a ride, and its smooth runner. guess thats why i heard the term in the past "cheap mercedes" when referring to these cars.

i added seafoam and run the car to little over 1/8th tank. i did add fresh fuel later on.. yes, i was lucky i didnt gum anything up. the smell from that cat converter is horrible!

Ford did the low mount starter in about 80 or 81 on the 200's. Think you can adapt a V8 bell.

the 250 has the 302 bell the later big bell 200 has half a 302 bell.its a 302 without the 2 top bolts the top of the bell of course has been cut down as well.this bell will fit a 302 if you wanted to use it just no top.
