I have been told its off a 1972 F250.

I was not able to locate any other numbers on the axle.

Anyone able to assist or point me int he wright direction?

Picture number 3 seems to show the number 60 cast into the housing on the lower right side of the cover plate. If so, a Dana 60 from what I've been told about Dana rear ends.

Its for sure a Dana 60. I just need to understand if its from a 72 F250.
There does not seem to be any numbers to go be and was hoping someone with more knowledge could look at the pic and narrow it down.

The Dana 60 was standard in the 250 in the 8 lug pattern but it was an option for the 100 in 5 lug.
You need to do some measurements to confirm it's from a '72. 1973 up has a wider track. 1972 and back are not much wider than a '48 F1.
It's best if you measure the rear from a pre 73 truck. I say you because measurements can vary posted online so it's best you do it rather than rely on online info.
