This is an unrestored, survivor 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 two-door hardtop. It is an original "Z"code 390 cu.in/300hp , factory bench-seat four-speed with a 350;1 rear. It is an original Georgia car with 96,000 miles.
It has a rebuilt engine with less than 5,000 miles on it, new brakes, wheel cylinders, master cyl., brake hoses, water pump, generator, carburetor, fuel tank and sender, fuel lines, fuel pump, shock absorbers, tires ( 235/75 R15 on the rear, 215/75 R 15 on the front).
Much of the paint ( Rangoon Red) is original and is worn through in spots. The chrome is original and shows some pitting. The front seat has one crack in the driver's seat. All the body mounts are perfect. The inner and outer rocker panels and floors are rock-solid. The quarter panels are straight and solid. There are no patch panels or body-filler in the sheet metal of this car.
The car runs and drives excellent as is and can be driven anywhere and has no bad habits, such as over-heating, etc. It is a very reliable, fun to drive car.
