Anyone out there had to replace your wiring from the switch to the door?
I have checked the switch by connecting it to the opposite door and the switch works fine. I have pulled the motor and it is frozen but I am not getting continuity from the red/blk wire to the door which I believe is the "down" on the switch.
It appears to go along the inside of the console then into the dash and out through to the door.
Do you need to pull the console cover off and what part of the dash?
Also, are the motors repairable?
I see Ford covered or dipped them in a black rubbery material probably intended as sound deadening. I see the replacement motors do not have this covering.
Any help would be appreciated.
