FOR SALE: 1959 2 Dr. Ford Fairlane Custom 300

Originally a California car until 2011
70,300 actual miles
The car is very original. Included is the original window sticker stating that the car is equipped w/special Thunderbird "332" V-8. This was Ford's first big block.
It also has deluxe interior & exterior trim package.
This car is the higher end of the 300 series in the Fairlane model.
New fuel tank, new radial white wall tires
Rebuilt carburetor
All new front suspension kit not installed
The one piece of trim that is missing will be installed.
The car runs very strong however, there is an issue with the transmission.
It is the original Fordomatic (2 spd)
The car gets me to all the local cruise nights but is geared too low for highway driving. Being geared this low really makes the straight pipes rap.
Newer drum brakes all around
Interior is all original and very decent. Some of the piping on driver's front seat has unraveled but there are no tears or rips.
The body is very nearly rust-free. It has been repainted close to the original two-tone blue & white. The paint is decent but more driver-quality than show-quality. There are a few dings & dents. Very minor. A couple of pin holes in the trunk area.
All lights, turn signals, & gauges are in working condition.
Horn, wipers, & dome light are not working
The rear bumper needs re-chrome and front bumper needs straightening.
The car is driven daily and still gets plenty of looks on the road. Sounds awesome w/straight pipes and dual glass packs and exhaust tips that exit in front of the rear wheels.
$7,500 or interested in trades for '50's & '60's cars, especially '60-'66 trucks. American made only.
