I would say just the convertible might be worth a bit. But all up to actual condition.
Check your local listings to see what they are going for. It would wager about 10-12k at best. The rest with higher prices are trying to get their money back or are really proud of their car.
If you really want what might be a one owner or and older restoration. Go for it. I don't think there is much meat on the bone for a flip.
I also done see these as an easy sell. One of the cruisers near me was having a hard time getting her money back on a 58 Ford Club coupe. Really nice, rind and drives and nice paint. She might gotten only about 10-11k.
Also T-Birds are an acquired taste to some.
I just noticed your in Santa Maria
I took a Quick Look. There are about 3-4 in the sad state to looks drivable. From 2.5-6k
Then there are a few listed at about 19-22k
Then there is one at 65k
If I had to have it.
I would consider the power options, if it's convertible, paint.
You will need new tires, 1.5k
If your don't need to paint it that is a bonus.
I would wager a bid under 4K if it's down run when you are there to buy it. And they don't have a sign with a price.
But it all depends on when you see.
It can be an old restoration with receipts. But that doesn't mean the family wants more or less.
