My Encyclopedia of American Cars, says 32,854 4 door Ranch Wagons were built in 1958, and 34,578 2 door Ranch wagons. Also built 12,687 Del Rio 2 door Ranch wagons (Fairlane trim).
This is the total range of Wagons offered by Ford for 1958. As you can see, the top of the line is the Country Squire. Next were the four door Country Sedans in either 6 or 9 passenger. There was also a two door wagon that had the same Side Trim as the Country Sedans, but was called Del Rio Ranch Wagon. Then came the base Ranch Wagon, that was available in either two or four doors. I hope that this answers your questions.
