1957 Thunderbird dash paint

Guys,
I am painting a 57 Thunderbird Dash. I have the color down, and plan to use base / clear... My question is.... I know the dash is not a gloss finish but rather a more satin finish. My local PPG store has Matte clear, Semi Gloss clear, and Satin Clear, and flat clear. Trying to fiugre which would best replicate the original finish??

Original finish was a hammertone textured finish.

This can be achieved by using a light application of 3M Rocker Panel Spray followed by your choice of color.

Use a satin finish.

Thanks. I have ordered the 3M rocker coating. I ordered the textured dash paint from CASCO for a thunderbird and it was highly disappointing

35.......the '57 I had was a Rose color and padded dash. Are you painting the padding ?

No I am replacing the Dash padding with a reproduction White (what a job)

Another tip is to use a gun with a big spray tip to achieve the best hammertone effect,
