All right guys I got a 57 mercury Montclair in on a trade. It's a great car but just not my style. I drove it from far north side of Kingsport Tennessee at Virginia line to my place in old fort NC on Sunday. Car drives.like a dream. It has a rebuilt and stout 312 v8 with a good working.600 holly on it. It's has a push button transmission that works great. It's has new dual exhaust with smitty brand mufflers sounds right like an old custom should. installed in July 2014. Cruiser skirts with cooker wide white tires with excellent tread. Factory power seat that works great. 212 louvers on hood. I also have a factory hood for it. The head liner is out but it came with a new one in box and I have the head liner bows. It came with a trunk full of parts trim, knobs, etcetera the guy had rounded up for it. It has Granada front spindles and disk brakes with a corvette master and brake booster brakes work amazing. It has factory p.s. also has an aluminum radiator. it has new springs on all for corners 1.5" lower on front coils and 3 " lower on rear leafs. Only rust I found in entire car is smaller than a dime behind gas pedal. Interior is original and carpet is out revealing great floor boards. Front seat needs work but it's all there and like I said power and works. The stainless on car is a solid 9 out of ten but crome and pop metal needs attention. Not pealing but has pits. The door glass is cracked both sides and other side windows have fog on edges. It's all flat glass so not a big deal. The front and rear windows are perfect. .The car is a super driver have fun car. That wouldn't take much to be a show car. I was stopped everywhere today asked about it. I would take 10,5 the way it sits or I'll do interior and fix glass and ask a lot more. I now have 200 miles on car since I took possession car drives excellent got up and drove it 35 miles to work no problems. Will be working on the details as time goes on. 10,5 in current shape or partial trades. just put new u joints in today. I have pictures of every inch of this car top to bottom and underneath just ask and I will post them.
