Does anyone have an old parts book with part numbers? I'm having a heck of a time finding a clutch release rod for a 57 Ford. If I had an original part number it might put me in the right direction. Thanks!

If you can find someone with an old Hollander interchange manual, you might find that the same part is used on different years/ models, and make your search a little more easy. also you may try Green sales Ford parts. they sell all kinds of obsolete parts. good luck.

Looks like part # B6A-7521-A, about 7 3/4" long? I just picked up a good used one recently because mine is worn on my '56. According to my parts book it fits from '55-'58s.

Keep in mind that none of these parts are available as new, maybe NOS if you get lucky. eBay is a good place to find old Ford parts.

That's the guy. The hunt for an nos one is still on. I'd be happy with finding a good used one at this point. It's reassuring to know they are still out there before we wind up fabricating a new one.
