1....bell housing

2.....auto ******

I think we had this discussion before and I think the consensus was they were not painted from the factory but someone suggested to paint them with Cast Blast? to protect them. OldMics?

I thought we had this discussion but I could not find my original posting so I was not sure if indeed I had posted it....
My only concern with the cast blast is that the can said it needs to be cured at 400 degrees and since the ****** is all assembled, it would never get to that temperature....this being an automatic,it does get hot but I am thinking under 200 degrees......John in CT

Didn't know you had to cure Cast Blast. I haven't used it. I used Plasti-coat Cast Paint on an intake with good results.

Do you have the hi-temp or regular cast blast? I don't think the regular requires a high temp.

I have the high temp 1200 degrees rated ...can says 400 degrees to cure.....J
I have painted it with a standard metal paint so now the question is moot...thanks, J
