Just noticed on my 56 F100 (low mileage one owner till recent) that on the underside of the bonnet (hood) there is a stamp in yellow paint about 1-1/2" long and 3/4" high shaped like a crown or pot with the words "Painter 200". Anyone seen this before or know what is about. Would it be painter number 200 that painted it at the factory? On closer inspection there is a smaller Ford scrip to the left of "Painter" and the number may be 208. This number is not the paint code number.
