1956 Dash side moldings

Did some searching but didn't find anything yet. Lookin' for info on the '56 dash side molding. Is there or what's the difference between the hardtops and sedan moldings? I know the hardtop A-pillar is about 1/2" narrower... Any input would be helpful.
