1956 Crown Victoria Vent Window Handle

I noticed on all the NOS vendors' (Carpenter, FRPS, etc) no one has vent window handles for the 56 Crown Victoria (& Convertible), but do for all other models. What is so different about the handle for a non-Crown Vic hardtop and a Victoria or Crestline hardtop that doesn't make it interchangeable? Is it just appearance, or is the form/function/fit different?

I bought one for my CV, thinking it's got to fit if it fits all the other models.
Well, they are correct, it will not. I did not study the minute difference/s with a magnifying glass. And yes, I too have been unable to find any source
(for a new reproduction).
