1956 Brake adjustment

It has been many years since I have done this and I have forgotten. So, on a 56, which way do you turn the drum brake star wheel to loosen and tighten the brake shoes? This is for the front if that even matters.
Nevermind, I remember.

As I remember ... (and w/o self adjusters) you use an upwards movement under the star wheel with the spoon to tighten the brake shoes and a downward movement over the start wheel to back-off.

Just spin the wheel while tightening and you should begin to hear the shoes dragging
