1955 Ford Radio Antenna

I just removed the antenna off my 55 Ford and cleaned it up. It did not have an antenna wire attached to it I cleaned all the parts at the end of the antenna that goes down through rear fender I was wondering where I can get a replacement antenna wire that will fit the original antenna and also the length I need. All the chrome is in excellent condition and so is the plastic fin piece that fits on top of the chrome base. I know I can buy a replacement or reproduction that looks the same but was trying to fix the original. Any suggestions or parts available.
 
I don't think that can be fixed, but you can try to take the antennae to a local car audio installation shop and ask them if there is anything they can do for it.
