1955 crown headliner trim(plastic)

To my knowledge, the headliner tucks in at the sides via a metal strip that has teeth on the backside that holds the headliner material tight. The strips are installed just above the window line along the inside of the roof structure with funny shaped lead-alloy fasteners into rectangular holes in the roof rail.
If you are missing those metal strips, they should be identical to the ones used on the '56 Ford victoria two-door hardtop models and probably the 1960 and 61 Starliner hardtop models.
Ar the front, the headliner tucks in under the metal garnish moulding at the top of the windshield. There are spring-steel clips installed in it to hold the material tight.
At the back, the headliner is pulled tight around the rear window channel before installing the rear window and gasket assembly. The factory used adhesive to temporarily hold it in place while installing the window.

on the rear glass it uses metal clips but the front uses plastic "welting" idk what to call it but the headliner seems to tuck underneath it
