1954 Merc Pickup Engine Color?

[ct1932ford]

Looking for information for a friend: What is the original engine color for a 1954 Mercury Pickup V8 Flathead. Thanks

The engine color info at this link may only apply to the Y-block engines, not the flatheads, but here it is anyway...

Correct it is just Y -blocks. Thanks anyway!

you might try the early V8 forum, they deal with all the flathead stuff.
