My 54 Meteor hood is not opening quite high enough. It popped open while driving a coupe of years ago, and I know that didn't help much, but everything looks straight, nothing really bent that I can tell.
There seems to be a lot of play in the pivot point in the hinges. I can push the hood up higher manually and it sits quite high. Car still has the original springs, are they available anywhere? I should just buy a new set maybe?
