1954 Ford Dashes - USA, Canada & Australia

In 1954, Ford in the USA introduced the new "Y" Block OHV V8 engine.
Also new was the Ball Joint front suspension and the Wheelbase was increased by half an inch.
They also got a new dash that featured the Astra-Dial Control Panel.
For some reason, the 1954 Fords in Canada continued with the tried and proved Flathead engine.
These Canadian 1954 Ford also used the carry-over 1953 chassis that resulted in a half inch shorter Wheelbase than the USA models.
In Australia, only one passenger car body style was produced, that being the Customline Four Door Sedan.
Ford Australia also offered the Mainline Coupe Utility.
Like Canada, our 1954 Fords continued using the 1953 Ford Chassis and Flathead engines.
Because our cars are Right Hand Drive, the "bean counters" at Ford didn't update the previous year dash boards.
The attached photos are of a USA 1954 Ford and an Australian RHD Ford Customline.
Question - did the Canadian 1954 Fords get the updated Astra-Dial Control Panel dash?
If someone could add a photo, of a Canadian 1954 Ford Dash, that would be appreciated.

Ford did a big change over for 1954 and Ford of Canada was still producing their own Ford product while they retooled. The Mercury and Monarch were different since Canada ordered partially completed cars for the Mercury body type in that time frame and then made them their own. This gave Canada their first Y-blocks. The Lincoln cars I have to segregate but Canada ordered them too. They had their own big Y-blocks.

Thanks Rotorwrench for your detailed reply. Did the Canadian 1954 Fords received the updated Astrodome Dash?
Would love a photo of a Canadian 1954 Ford Customline Dash.
