1 owner, 61k miles, I bought the truck from a lady who's father bought it new in 54, has 223 / 3 peed, but motor has some occasional weird noises, not sure if its motor or flywheel?, has great oil pressure which adds to the mystery, runs and drives. I bought a rebuilt 215 with attached 3 speed ****** from a 52 ford f100 that a guy was v8'in, along with it but didn't need it is the rearend, driveshaft, new dual exhaust, bought it as a package. Has complete all 4 wheel brake job.
truck has all new windows, rubber, channels.fuzzies, new exhaust, shocks,
new radials, new aluminum rims. truck is solid, was repainted metallic rootbeer brown 20 plus years ago, body is straight with the exception of front box panel has some dingers in it, wood was replaced years ago but now has a couple of boards that are rotted in places. Seat was redone.

have (5) OE rims, original tire changing tools, extra OE carb, between the the 2 motors, have enough carbs to either run dual / triple carbs, was my thought. or sell the whole lot and recoup some cost and V8 the truck, either way, awesome truck as is.
pm me with your email and I will send pic's

Mine makes noise after sitting a long time. I am sure it is the throw-out bearing as I have experienced this same thing in my 48 and 47 Fords that I owned before. After I drive it for a short time the noise goes away and stays away unless I park it again for 7 to 10 days and then it returns until it is driven a short distance.

I think you nailed it, I kept telling myself, it's sounds like it was coming from the ****** area, not the motor, especially with the good oil pressure, and the symptoms are "exactly"
As you describe.......
Again " thanks" for your input
Jeff
