1954 ford custom line 2 door sedan for sale.
239 y block v8 with 3 speed overdrive transmission
I have done a bunch of work to this to put it back on the road. This is how you want to find them, has been sitting for many years inside. I have photos of the underside I can email, no rust on the floor pans or the trunk, there is some rust on the outside surface of the rear quarters and rockers, not rotted though, easy fix. I don’t think it’s ever been in a wreck of any sort, super straight body and bumpers etc. although the rear bumper has weird surface rust, (Korean war era chrome?). Still has the original headliner and door panels, visors need recovered and the headliner is weak, has the rubber floor mat and the seats have been recovered once. Its been painted once over the original color, all the glass is still fomoco and in good shape, except the windshield, which has cracks. I have had a new radiator built for it, boiled the gas tank and painted it, new water pump, cap rotor, wires, plugs, points, carb kit, belt, wheel cylinders, master cylinder kit, brake hoses, etc. etc. I have all the receipts, over one thousand bucks in parts. I have driven it around town a bit, I don’t think the over drive is working, but it drives pretty good, the brakes could use a little more tweaking and it needs tires pretty bad, I also think some of the grounds could be cleaned up, as some of the lights work intermittently. I tidied up some of the wiring under the hood to be safe, but it’s mostly cloth covered and dry, could use more work. Radio even works good! Solid car, very untouched original.
Sold with a bill of sale only, title has been lost.
Asking 4500.00
Call me for more details.
