I bought some of the aftermarket (Dennis Carpenter) window rollers. Teflon roller with a cupped washer, Flat washer, a spring, and retainer clip. I am attempting to put them back into the window channels and they don't seem to fit and ride in the channel all that nicely. (Even with a good serving of lubrication. So, I am wondering if I don't have them installed correctly. I have the channel lips wedged in between the roller lip and the cup washer. The cup washer doesn't ride squarely in the channel and causes friction in movement. I have attached pictures of how I have them installed. Is this correct?
Also, I am trying to figure out the best way to load the rollers into the channels that are mounted inside the door cavity. Since the rollers are spring loaded I'm not finding much success... Yikes. I have a shop manual but it is not providing any of the details needed.
