1952 ford car steering wheel horn ring doesnt work

any pictures of how to reassemble the steering wheel horn asssembly ring,,when take ring off and touch center wire to side of metal horn blows fine,when mount ring back on nothing.... not sure im reassembled right. but didnt work when got car.....
 
i do have all the parts,,,, i fin found online a picture of a 55 which was almost the same and noticed the center ring was mounted evenely spaced between the upper and lower ring mine slips to bottom took apart but 2 pieces of velcro on the lg rubber spacer right behind the center plastic button ring was then evenly spaced put back on and after 4 years horn works thanks all Dennis
