1952 F1 Motor mount stands

I recently acquired a project 1952 F1 pickup. I want to install a Flathead V8 in this truck. Previous owner started to install a small block Chevy and discarded the original motor mount stands (the elevated piece that mounts with 3 bolts to the frame). These are not available from reproduction sources like LMC, MAC, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions about salvage yards that specialize in our trucks or can provide pictures and dimensions so that I can manufacture my own?

You might post on FTE (Ford Truck Enthusiasts, ford-trucks.com) in the '48-'56 section, that you want those. Guys who go to IFS's are likely to have some. You will need them off a '52 only, earlier ones are different.

There is a difference between the V8 and the 6.Like Ross said.. the 52 has an overhead valve 6 so thats going to hard to find. The 6 has a slightly smaller arc.will have to drill out the rivets .Maybe look up Glenn Sanders here on the barn... He always has a good inventory of F-1 parts. Check Craigslist. Good luck
