I have a '52 Ford F1 with a '47 Merc Flathead V8. It had headers on it when I bought it. They are a new production set, not sure of the maker. Thye have been modified to "work" with the setup. The driver's side center tube touches the dipstick and collector is within 1/4" of the original steering box. Passenger side is within an inch of the starter.
In my past browsing I have seen headers listed that are for F1's with original steering box, but now I can't find the specific headers.
Does anyone know of a specific header for that era flathead V8 that would work with what I have? Or, should I contract a custom muffler shop and go with a custom setup?
Any assistance appreciated.
