1951 - 1952 Ford Pickup Running Boards

Can someone tell me if these boards fit earlier ford pickups?

I agree. You would have to really modify the boards to get them to conform to the earlier rear fenders, front too, perhaps.

48-52 only without major modifacation. F-1 was all by itself and F-2 and F-3 were the same.

They will fit 48 to 50 but the 48 to 50s are slightly different than the 51 52 under the cab.

The 48-50's have an area of metal that goes over the frame, the 51-52 only have a lip or rolled edge. They both have the notch for the cab corner. You can interchange them, but if you're going for points, you need the correct ones.
