1950 Ford overdrive ****** swap

I want to put an overdrive ****** in my 1950 Ford. It has a straight
3- speed ****** now. The stock ****** measures 13-11/16" from the front of the ****** to the centerline of the bolt holes on the rear mount.
I have found several 1950 overdrive ******'s but they measure 12-3/8" front of ****** to the centerline of the bolt holes.
What gives? Do I have to make a rear mount? Or should I keep looking for one with the correct measurement?

I have done this swap several times. Std and OD ****** should interchange with no issues. Solenoid mount is slightly different on a convertible because of X-frame, but otherwise this swap is a straight shot, and no mod to driveshaft is required.
