Hey guys, I spent 2 years working on this pick-up and don't want to sell it, but I want a 40 Coupe so bad I cant stand it.
So here's your chance to ****** up a real nice 50 F1.
It has a 8CM merc engine in it, 4 inch crank, big Isky cam, stainless Manley valves, a very deep relieving job, every thing is port matched, and CC,ed.
High volum oil pump, Skip Haney water pumps,
Balanced and blue printed, Eddie Myers Tunnel ram, Stromsburg 97s Edelbrock heads,
The engine just rolled over 2500 miles,
Has a T5 transmission, with a B&M quick shift shifter.
Factory Spicer diff,
I've replaced or rebuilt every thing from bumper to bumper, rewired it, converted it to 12 volts.
All new rubber in the cab, Every bearing, every bushing, every piece of rubber has been replaced.
The pick-up will role at 85 to 90 with no problems.
Rebuilt the steering box, king pins and bushings.
This is a very nice pick-up, daily driver.
I've got a ton of build pics, if your interested in something special let me know.
She runs and drives like a dream..

thanks ken, i know your right, i really dont want to sell the 50, but..
Ive got a 30 pick-up ive been gathering parts for for some time, ive about got everything, so if i can get my hands on a 40. ill still have the 30 to drive.

my buddy works at car quest, he let me dig around, not sure what they fit but they fit my flathead, i think i have the part number if you want it..

Yes, if you have the part # it'll save me time from perusing the back supply storage areas of the local Autozone's, Advance Auto's, and Oreilly's. I'm on a first name basis with them when trying to improvise parts fitment. I thought I had a few possibilities lined up by looking at the Dayco and Gates inventories on their webpages.

Elwood, I am like you, I wish i could have all of Henry's favorites. Look at the 40 in my avitar i sold that to get my 48' A move i still kick myself for but i got the 48 and i'm happy with it.Now my newest is a 62 Econoline from Dallas TX. Like Banjo said.. Someone is going to be happy with that 50. Ken
