Trying to add a mirror to the passenger door hinge of my 1950 F-1, but cannot get the hinge pin to budge. Where can I get a new hinge for this truck?

Thanks

The pin has a knurled section that fills the top tab of the hinge. That's where the rust/crud/binding is taking place.

I ended up grinding the top cap off the old pin, then using a series of smaller-larger drill bits down the center of the pin to collapse the top part of the pin. Then drift it up from the bottom.

had the same problem on my 48 f1 while removing the doors
2 came out by hammer and punch and 2 I had to drill out.
some suppliers have hinge pin removers but have heard they
don't work very well. I don't know of any one that sells new hinges.
I had more of a problem removeing the screws that hold the
hinges to the body. after soaking for days with pb blaster
and using a screwdriver bit socket on a impact they broke.

THose remover toolsare a joke, I know as I tried to rewmove my pins for the same reason. All that thing did was bend the hardened pin with the puller like butter. I soaked them for a few days and was able to drive mine up and out. I got lucky!

Just removed the doors from my '39 PU and had to soak the pins in ATF and acetone for several days to break loose the pins. Also used heat and an impact hammer to drive the pins up. One door I had to remove the upper hinge from the cowl pillar.
the nuts came right off the hinge bolts, but one bolt screwed into the cowl pillar. Lots of ATF and acetone and a hand held impact wrench with a flat screwdriver blade and everything came loose.
