I am upgrading my front end, steering column. Drivability is a big factor but I want to keep her looking stock and want to use the original steering wheel. I have searched and searched for an adapter to use the 3/4 tapered spline in the steering wheel and mate to a 3 bolt column. Has anyone done this before?

Never did it before but I would fabricate an adapter using the old tapered end. You will have to determine if its do-able. It may involve cutting out anything inside of the old steering wheel (signal trip etc.) in order to get the wheel to sit as close as possible to the new column.
