I'm looking for any official info or guide to the original jack assembly and tool kit for the 49-50 Ford F1. If you have any photos or info that may help me track down what the originals look like, I would sure appreciate it. Also, if you know where I can buy one, that'd be great too.

My truck came with some extra jack parts. I'm not sure if they're original or not. If someone can come up with a picture and it looks like what I have I'd be willing to let them go.

Our '51 had the factory "bottle" Jack with the thumb screw hold down but no jack handle/tire iron. I use an “X” type lug wrench and tire iron out of a ’53 Ford.

The original jack is identical to the jacks used in the 70's and 80's ford F series and 83-92 Rangers, right down to the hole for the thunb screw. THe crank up handle is part number 82Y 17081-B and the lug wrench is the same as any Ford car up to the middle 70's. The crank handle may still be available. I haven't looked on our Ford inhouse system lately to see if you can still get it. I know the lug wrench is obsolete.
If you have a parts book for the trucks, they list all the wrenches, pliers and screwdriver that was in the toolbag. The bag is the hardest to find. I'm still looking for a bag.
