1948 Tudor window questions

I am replacing the 1/4 windows on my 48 tudor sedan. I am replacing the interior so I have removed the trim panels and the panels that the regulators bolt to. Should I have the regulator in the down or up position when attaching the glass to the regulator? I'm assuming down so that the glass will be in the window felt channels.
Also, I believe that the "bugs" on the vent windows are in the lower back corners. Can someone give me the measurements from the back and bottom edges.
Thanks!

Can't help with the bug question but the regulator and glass are only going to play nicely with the regulator down, as I recall. It will be brutally apparent how to position things once you begin the work.
