Tried most of the on line sources with no luck. looking for a 1948 Mercury horn. I have what appears to be two inoperable horns behind the grille of my 89M. The horn wire splits and goes to both. I ran new wires but still they don't work. They likely need replacement. Any suggestions?

Have you tried a "jumper" wire direct from the battery to the horns as a test? Per the wiring diagram there should be a separate wire to each horn from the same terminal on the horn relay. The jumper test would cut out the horn relay and all of the original wiring and test just the horns.
