Born, preserved and still a 1948 Mercury. Refurbished in the '80's resuscitated in 2000. On a rating scale of 1 through 5, 1 being show and 5 restorable, this rock solid Mercury is pushing 2. She features a Columbia 2 spd., dual exhaust, spots, fogs, mirrors, heaters, wide whites, bumper tips and guards and much more. She receives more thumbs up than a bikini clad bathing beauty. Well, from car people of a certain age anyway. However I did have two different ladies chase me down at different times to ask about her. Had three teenage boys give her the thumbs up and broad smiles as well. I am not a computer wiz or I would include pictures. Maybe one of you more knowledgeable "barners" can tell me how. Thanks alot for looking.
