I am trying to sell a 1948 Ford Coupe for a lady in my car club. Her husband passed away a few years ago, and this was one of his favorite cars. Between him and a best friend they have owned this car for over forty years. It is a real sold old car, has one rust hole about the size of a quarter in the rear floor that was patched with a small square patch many years ago. I have had it on my lift and that is all the sign of rust I could find. Engine runs really good and strong, Fred was a really good flathead man, and he rebuilt this engine. Paint is a good job, but could use some buffing to get out a little orange peal. Upholstery was replaced about a year before he passed away, so it has saw almost no use. I have driven the car and it does very well on the road with lots of power.
Asking price of $14,500.
