1948-1952 ford f1 vent window

Has anyone used the vent window seal from Carpenter Ford Products or LMC Truck. The Carpenter one cost twice what LMC does. Whats the difference?

I have Carpenter vent window seals on our '51 F-1; they have been in place for over six years and still look like new and fit like the originals from Ford.
 
I have the LMC ones on mine....they don't fit very well. Wish I would have known the difference. You get what you pay for I guess......
 
When you talk to Carpenters ask them how they are coming with the F-1 stainless vent window frames. Per my conversations with them they have been in the R&D process for a few years now. I ask them every time I see them at meets hoping to move the process along to completion. If enough people inquire maybe they'll get them into production.
