1947 Pedal Assembly

I have removed both my clutch and brake arms as the bushings are worn on my 1947 Ford.
I see that they sell a shaft and bushings or just bushings.
I tapped on the end of the shaft and it seems to be in the pedal assembly pretty solid.
Is the shaft locked in the pedal assembly with a bolt some where in the center of the assembly?

Thanks
Jeff

There are pins, #352581, that locate and retain the pedals arms. They have to be removed first.

Does the shaft show wear? Slide the new bushings over the shaft for a test fit. You may not have to remove the shaft.

No pins were used on 1947. Shaft is a tight press fit. You will probably need to remove the complete assembly to use a press.
