I'm thinking about just springing for a new fuel tank in my '47. Is there any special rubber mounts or springs that I might need to replace at the same time? Are they available?
rubber pads to frame and special bolts with springs. any early ford place should have them. hose for fill pipe. are you looking at a "genuine" or aftermarket tank? aftermarket has a different location for fuel line and comes with a vent kit
Thanks. I want a metal tank that I can drop in and go, not some cheesy replacement. I'm guessing any one from drake or others is going to have the right things in the right spots?
