Up for sale is one of the nicest 1947 convertible bodies out there!! This car is a project that was started by a good friend of mine, but unfortunately he is no longer able to finish it due to cancer and mounting medical bills. This was his dream car and he was building it as such, it's a shame he won't ever get to drive it. The body has absolutely no rust and has been stripped and primed, I believe some of the fenders were NOS when purchased. The front inner fenders, radiator support and panels are all Bitchin Products. The frame has a Chassis Engineering bolt in Mustang II frontend, power steering rack, tubular A-arms and ECI front disc brakes with Ford bolt pattern. The rear is a Ford 8” with drum brakes and is suspended by a Chassis Engineering parallel leaf setup. At this point the choice of powertrain is yours, there are no engine mounts installed. The steering column is a tilt from a Chevy van, all the steering linkage is connected. The top bows have been fitted and adjusted to work properly and the power rams and motor are there. The front and rear seats are original, a set of Cadillac 6-way power seats are included that he was planning on installing. There is a pallet more than 20 boxes of used, NOS and brand new parts that go with this car, including a complete set of very nice 1946 Deluxe trim that was to be used and all of the hard to find "convertible only" parts. I have inventoried everything and can provide a list to serious parties. The car is titled in Oregon.
