Another project that needs a good dry home, and at 68 years old now, I've come to the conclusion that I can't save them all and keeping my 3 drivers on the road is plenty of work as it is.

This is kind-of a "bargain basket"...being as how I have never unpacked it since purchasing it from a "Father Joe" type donation sale where the relatives simply shoved all items inside it and called to have it removed for a tax right off. It appears very solid, maybe chemically treated to remove the paint, and other than light surface rust I see no major issues with rust out...actually, I don't see any rustout, although it is difficult to tell with all the stuff shoved inside. I can see a decent looking hood and fenders, looks like glass and interior moldings, cans and boxes of misc. parts and a grille shell. I am going to unload it next week if not sold beforehand as/is, and take pictures and inventory. There is no engine or ******...it looks like it had some kind of GM power??? as it has a GM rear end with parallel springs, although has the stock front axle. I believe it has probably sat inside, taken apart for 30 years or so from talking to the car hauler driver who hauled it from the donor family. The doors looked really good as I recall, and the main reason I bought it was for the trunk lid for my driver of many years, as I was being quoted up to $1,000 for less than perfect ones....however, I found out that club coupe trunks are different, and just pushed this Ford back into the corner.

My e-mail is below, although I can not really add anything else to this description until it is unloaded, and as much as I hate to type or sit behind a computer screen, about the only thing I can further offer is to call you back if you leave a phone number. I do not wish to trade or take payments. After the experience of trying this on Craigslist recently, I will immediately delete any e-mail that comes in my junk mail or appears to be a scam....

The price is very firm, being less than 1/2 of what I paid 30 years ago for a donor car and seeing the prices being asked for parts now.....and the big Portland swap meet is in a few months and only 9 miles from here.

Thanks for looking....wishing all in the hobby well...hoping this does not turn out to be another old ford sitting in the rain waiting to have a Chev 350/350 hashed in...(too many 1970's Chev sedans sitting beside them also without their engines....) ....hope this sells...can't wait to spend the money on billet door knobs and under dash air conditioning on my Model a lakes car...

Take care, Clyde
