Does anyone have any photos of a stock 1946 Ford Pickup firewall? I am trying to figure out the routing of all the cables and wiring. You can send them straight to my email at theflightline@hotmail.com if you don't know how to post here.

Iam restoring a 43, but it was dismantled when I purchased it. If you get a response I would love to see it. walt
 
Tried to post this yesterday but it wouldn't work. This is the only one I have of my 1945 1/2 ton firewall. This was prior to a complete re-wire job.

Dave D: I have a '47 PU, that I believe is exactly the same as a '46.......although I am certainly NOT a expert by any means. If the firewall IS the same, drop a note to me at drugcourt@bellsouth.net, and I'll send all the pictures you desire. (Mine has the correct heater installed, also.)
 
Please, please, please share the photos with the rest of us!

My truck needs a lot of correct work and I'll gladly hear others stories and advice.

The color of the exterior firewall and dash and floor of cab seems to be some type of olive green. I will be painting mine soon and would like to know correct color.
 
Someone here on the Barn told me the color but I cannot find it in my messages. Here are some other photos showing the color, perhaps someone can tell us what the color is again?

do you have a V8 or 6 cylinder? They have different layouts of the components on the firewall. I have pics of both.
 
Google 1946 ford pickup firewall showing wiring and you will get a photo showing the wiring .Most everything is on the drivers side
